Stagecoach has put in place a new management structure for its bus operations in the Midlands and East of England following the retirement of one of its local managing directors.

Following Tony Cox’s retirement, services in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire Northamptonshire, Peterborough and Warwickshire will be brought under a new management structure.

There are no changes to Stagecoach bus services as a result of the new structure, which is effective from 1 August 2010.

  • Regional Director – Robert Andrew
  • Managing Director – Andy Campbell
  • Commercial Director – Philip Norwell
  • Engineering Director – Bob Dennison

Bus services delivered from the Northampton, Kettering, Corby, Nuneaton, Rugby, Leamington, and Stratford depots and associated outstations will come under Stagecoach Midlands. The management team will consist of:

  • Regional Director – Bob Montgomery
  • Managing Director – Steve Burd
  • Operations Director – Liz Esnouf
  • Engineering Director – Keith Dyball

Les Warneford, Managing Director of Stagecoach UK Bus said: “I would like to thank Tony for his past service and wish him a long and happy retirement. The new structure will support our drive to attract more people to our greener, smarter bus services.”
