Stagecoach Group’s market-leading budget coach operator megabus.com has carried its six millionth customer in North America.

megabus.com offers daily, express coach travel for as low as $1 in North America and from just £1 in the UK.

It has reached the latest milestone in North America just four months after reaching the five million passenger landmark.

Last month, megabus.com expanded its Philadelphia service to cover nine cities in the United States and Canada. It now serves 33 cities across the Northeast and Midwest of the United States and seven cities in Canada.

megabus.com also offers customers more sustainable travel. Each double-decker bus has the potential to remove 81 cars from the highway and is one of the most energy and fuel-efficient ways to travel.

The double-decker buses are 10 times more fuel efficient than a 737 plane and 25 times more efficient than a single-passenger car per passenger per mile*.
